Platecraft

Privacy Policy

Effective June 11, 2026

Platecraft is designed so that your information stays with you. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. This policy explains how your information is handled when you use the app.

The short version: Your recipes, meal plans, and settings stay on your device and, if you choose, in your own Apple iCloud. There is no account to create. We operate no servers that store your data, and we have no access to it.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Platecraft has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not receive your recipes, meal plans, photos, or any other content you create in the app.

Where your data is stored

Optional features that use third-party services

Some optional features work only if you provide your own access key for a third-party service (for example, an AI provider used to help import recipes, or a nutrition data service). When you choose to use such a feature, the relevant content is sent directly from your device to that provider under your own key. That provider's handling of the data is governed by its own privacy policy, and any charges from that provider are between you and that provider. These features are entirely optional, and the app does not require them. We do not receive this data.

Children's privacy

Platecraft is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
